Board Certified Mommy Makeover Plastic Surgeon

Serving Oak Brook, Naperville, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, LaGrange, Western Springs, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, St. Charles, Geneva, Bolingbrook, Joliet, Aurora, and Chicago patients

A mommy makeover is a combination of several different plastic surgery procedures. The changes from childbirth are irreversible. However, surgical modification of the skin and fat can help you improve, if not regain, the memory of your best silhouette.

Most patients will require treatment directed at several areas, though at times, it can be limited to one site.  These problem areas seem to no longer respond adequately to previous swift resolution solutions such as exercise and diet modification.

More than 11,000 patients agree:

Face and Body Plastic Surgery is different.

Over the years we’ve watched fad treatments and cosmetic crazes come and go. But when the fads have failed, the crazes died out, and people just want something that works…they turn to us.

Your Mommy Makeover Consultation

During your consultation, Dr. Izquierdo will discuss all your options based on his examination. My goal is to help you improve, if not regain, the memory of your best silhouette.

Your Mommy Makeover Procedure

Most patients will require breast lift with or without augmentation, and a tummy tuck.  These baseline procedures may also need further enhancement with liposuction of the thighs, arms, and back.  These procedures may be done at one time, or split among two surgical operations, in an ambulatory surgery center under general anesthesia.  Surgical times will vary with your particular goals and needs.

Mommy Makeover Recovery

Recovery will usually require 10-14 days. Those patients with children needing close attention, are encouraged to acquire additional or surrogate help for their child care during the early post operative period. Dr. Izquierdo will take you through the entire process.  Results begin to be noticeable by three weeks, and light activity can be started at that time.  Final results will be noticeable in 2-6 months.

Complications are rare, but can include infection, hematoma, delayed wound healing and scarring, numbness, leg vein thrombosis or embolism.
